The City of San Bruno's response to both the findings and recommendations are <br />listed below. <br />Responses to Grand Jury Findings: <br />F1. The Atherton, Belmont, Foster City, Hillsborough, and Menlo Park Police <br />Departments have deployed body -worn camera systems. <br />Response: <br />The City of San Bruno agrees with this finding. <br />F2. The Sheriffs Office and five of the city police departments that have not deployed <br />body -worn cameras all expressed similar concerns regarding the implementation of <br />these systems, the cost of equipment, the cost of data retention, and policy <br />- development. <br />Response: <br />The City of San Bruno understands what is represented in the Grand Jury Report. The City is <br />not intimately familiar with the concerns of other cities or police departments regarding the <br />implementation of body worn cameras. <br />F3. The Atherton, Belmont, Foster City, Hillsborough, and Menlo Park Police <br />Departments have budgeted sufficient funds to manage the cost of equipment, data <br />retention, and training. <br />Response: <br />The City of San Bruno understands what is represented in the Grand Jury Report.
