7.C. - Page 50 of 54 <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />Community Facilities District No. 2020-1 <br />(Seaport Centre/Seaport Plaza) <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The City Council (the "Council") of the City of Redwood City (the "City"), pursuant to the <br />City's Special Tax Financing Law (Chapter 32, Article XIII of the Redwood City Municipal Code) <br />which incorporates the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended, adopted on <br />October 26, 2020, a resolution entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City Declaring its Intention to Establish City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. <br />2020-1 (Seaport Centre/Seaport Plaza), and Approving Related Documents and Actions" (the <br />"Resolution of Intention"), pursuant to which the Council stated its intent to establish the "City of <br />Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2020-1 (Seaport Centre/Seaport Plaza)" (the <br />"CFD"). <br />In the Resolution of Intention, the Council expressly ordered the preparation of a written <br />Community Facilities District Report (the "Report"), for the proposed CFD. <br />The Resolution of Intention ordering the Report directed that the Report generally <br />contain the following: <br />(a) A description of the facilities (the "Facilities") and services (the "Services") by <br />type which will be required to adequately meet the needs of the CFD. <br />(b) An estimate of the fair and reasonable cost of the Facilities including the cost <br />of acquisition of lands, rights-of-way and easements, any physical facilities required in <br />conjunction therewith and incidental expenses in connection therewith, including the <br />costs of the proposed bond financing and all other related costs as provided in Section <br />53345.3 of the Act. <br />(c) An estimate of the fair and reasonable cost of the Services and incidental <br />expenses in connection therewith, and all other related costs. <br />For particulars, reference is made to the Resolution of Intention for the CFD, as <br />previously approved and adopted by the Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, the City's Director of Public Works, do hereby submit the <br />following data: <br />A. DESCRIPTION OF FACILITIES AND SERVICES. A general description of the <br />proposed Facilities and the proposed Services is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />hereby made a part hereof. <br />B. PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT. <br />The proposed boundaries of the CFD are those properties and parcels in which special taxes <br />may be levied to pay for the costs and expenses of the Facilities and the Services. A map of <br />the proposed boundaries of the CFD was recorded in the San Mateo County Recorder's Office <br />612 <br />
