designation on certain areas currently designated "Office Park Oriented Uses" <br />and "Multi -Story Structures for Offices and Retail Uses (Central Business <br />District)" to "Mixed Use (Office Park Oriented Uses /Residential)" and "Mixed Use <br />(Multi -Story Structures for Offices and Retail Uses (Central Business <br />District) /Residential," as shown on Exhibit "B," attached hereto; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposed amendments have been duly reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City and forwarded by said <br />Commission to this Council with a recommendation that said amendments be <br />adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, after public hearing duly noticed and held, <br />desires to amend the General Plan in the manner proposed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain proposed amendments to the Land Use Element of the <br />Strategic General Plan of the City of Redwood City amending the definition of <br />"Neighborhood Commercial" and adding a definition for "Mixed Use," shown on <br />Exhibit 'A" attached hereto, are hereby approved. <br />2.
