S.A. - Page 8 of 29 <br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />WORK PLAN <br />(Revised Project Description) <br />Project 10: Redwood City Bayfront Canal and Atherton Channel Flood Improvement <br />and Habitat Restoration Project <br />The Bayfront Canal/Atherton Channel Flood Improvement Project alleviates local flooding <br />by routing flood flows from the Bayfront Canal and Atherton Channel into managed ponds <br />that are part of the Ravenswood Pond Complex portion of the South Bay Salt Ponds <br />Restoration Project. This project includes modification of the existing Cargill ditch for <br />improved flow conveyance, and modifications to the Pond S5 forebay including <br />excavation/deepening of this smaller portion of Pond S5 immediately adjacent to Flood <br />Slough. Flood flows from the Bayfront Canal will bypass the Flood Slough tide gate and will <br />be routed into Ponds R5 and S5 of the Ravenswood Pond Complex. The Bayfront <br />Canal/Atherton Channel Flood Improvement Project supports habitat improvements of the <br />seasonal freshwater wetlands locally within Ponds R5 and S5, and the larger South Bay Salt <br />Ponds Restoration Project, while providing waterfowl habitat for special -status species such <br />as the western snowy plover. The Project also includes a public education and outreach <br />program targeted at the economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in the flood -prone <br />Project area. <br />Task 1: Direct Project Administration - Budget Category (a) <br />Task 1 a) Project Administration <br />This task consists of the project administration responsibilities, which includes <br />coordinating agency responsibilities and managing cost commitments. This task also <br />includes providing other supporting documentation required for this grant agreement (e.g., <br />financial statements, etc.). <br />Deliverables: <br />• Environmental Information Form (EIF) <br />• Financial Statements <br />• Other Applicable Project Deliverables <br />Task 1b) Quarterly Progress Reports <br />This task consists of preparing progress reports detailing work completed in prior quarter <br />as outlined in Exhibit (G) of this agreement and submitting to the Grantee for its submittal <br />to DWR review. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Quarterly Project Progress Report <br />Task 1c) Invoices <br />This task consists of preparing quarterly invoices including relevant supporting <br />documentation for submittal to DWR via Grantee. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Quarterly Invoices and associated backup documentation <br />Task 1d) Draft and Final Project Completion Report <br />This task consists of preparing draft Final Project Completion Report and submitting to DWR <br />REV: 09-11-2020 RL <br />11 <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 2/SFEP/ABAG (Page 3 of 8) <br />
