Memorandum of Understanding and Grant Agreement for the Bayfront Canal <br />and Atherton Channel Flood Protection and Ecosystem Restoration Project <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment <br />No. 2 to the Local Project Sponsor Agreement between the Association of Bay <br />Area Governments/San Francisco Estuary Partnership and City of Redwood City; <br />and <br />2. By motion, authorize the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the City of Menlo Park, Town of Atherton, County of San <br />Mateo and the Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District, subject to any minor, <br />clarifying and conforming changes approved by the City Attorney, and <br />authorizing a maximum City contribution towards completion of the project in <br />the amount of $2,658,000 under the terms of the MOU. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />5.13.
