6.15 Notices. <br />Any notice requirement set forth herein shall be deemed to be satisfied (a) three (3) days <br />after mailing of the notice first-class United States certified mail, postage prepaid, addressed to <br />the appropriate Party, or (b) one (1) business day after sending via email, addressed to the <br />appropriate Party, as follows: <br />Owner: Faculty Staff Housing <br />Stanford University <br />552 O'Connor Lane <br />Stanford, CA 94305 <br />and <br />Office of the General Counsel <br />Stanford University <br />Building 170, 3rd Floor, Main Quad <br />Stanford, CA 94305 <br />City: Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Attention: City Manager <br />with copy to: Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Such written notices, demands and communications may be sent in the same manner to such <br />other addresses as the affected Party may from time to time designate by mail or Email as <br />provided in this Section. Receipt shall be deemed to have occurred on the date shown on a <br />written receipt as the date of delivery or refusal of delivery (or attempted delivery if <br />undeliverable). <br />6.16 Severability. <br />If any provision of this Agreement shall be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, <br />legality and enforceability of the remaining portions of this Agreement shall not in any way be <br />affected or impaired thereby. <br />6.17 Savingsse.
