The
references listed below provide a sample of our diverse experience with projects of varied scale in Germany and North
America, including those similar in size and complexity to the City of Redwood City project. We have also provided two
letters of recommendation at the end of the reference section.
INTERNATIONAL INSTALLATIONS
City of Bad Hersfeld
Location:
Parking Spaces:
Completion Date:
Bad Hersfeld, Germany
500
2015
City of Bad Hersfeld is a small, bustling city in Germany T t
that includes a large open parking lot in the center of LAW
the City, along with multiple parking garages. The
central parking lot is frequently full which used to create significant traffic jams as drivers tried to find parking. Cleverciti
completely replaced the existing Siemens system of induction loops and guidance around the City and integrated the
Cleverciti solution with third -party space counting systems in all City garages. With Cleverciti, there is now clear digital
signage at every major entrance to the downtown area which guides drivers in real-time to the best parking option for
them either in one of the garages or in the central market area. This has significantly reduced the unnecessary congestion
in the City and residents have seen a decrease in the associated noise pollution.
The installation for the City of Bad Hersfeld is very similar in scope to the City of Redwood City project and includes
Cleve rcitiSensors, Circ360s, and ClevercitiSigns. Space occupancy data for surface lots and garages are consolidated into
the ClevercitiCockpit to provide real-time space availability and guidance throughout the City. A case study has been
provided in the Forms and Documentation section and additional information about the Bad Hersfeld installation is
available at https://innovationinpolitics.eu/en/showroom-project/smart-city-bad-hersfeld/ with a video on the full
deployment available at https://www.cIeverciti.com/smart-cites-smart-parking/.
Copyright 02020 Cleverciti Systems GmbH.
