In April 2015, the Berlin Senate opted <br />forthe Smart City Strategy Berlin. One of the goals of Smart City strategy is to increase the international <br />competitiveness of the Berlin -Brandenburg metropolitan region, to increase resource efficiency and <br />climate neutrality in Berlin by 2050, and to create a pilot marketfor innovative applications. <br />Berlin Partner far Business and Technology contributes to the realization of these goals. As a society <br />foreconomic promotion and technology promotion, Berlin Partner supports growth and innovation <br />in Berlin. <br />Til Berlin is positioned as an internationally renowned university in the German capital, in the center <br />of Europe_ Equipped with the research -rich profile, outstanding performance in interdisciplinary <br />teaching, and quality graduates, differentiates TUB from many of counterparts. <br />DAI-labor, one of the largest research laboratories at TU Berlin, is leading a flagship project of <br />Germany, DIGINET-PS (www.diginet-ps.de). Within the scope of the project, DAI labor with its <br />consortium partners develops -4KM test road for autonomous driving extending from Ernst -Reuter - <br />Platz. to Brandenbruger Tor. DigiNet-PS focuses on improving the perception of the vehicles by <br />delivering the information from on -road deployed sensors to the vehicles for different decision making <br />instances. The project has special attention of Prof. Albayrak, head of DAI tabor, owing to its futuristic <br />goals and envisioned contributions to the future ecosystem. <br />For Parking relevant solutions of the project, Cleverciti Systems is crucial entity. Cleverciti TR120 <br />sensors are chosen to cover around ~15Q0 throughout the stretch of the test -road through the <br />cooperation with DAI-labor, City of Berlin, and Ministry of traffic and digital infrastructure.
