Features and Functionalities of Proposed Mobile Application
Cleverciti Mobile App
Mobile app features supported by Cleverciti include:
■ Displaying current availability, at an individual space level (e.g. for on -street) or aggregated to the group level (e.g. for
a particular parking garage).
A uniaue feature to Cleverciti's a
This feature
has been successfully implemented by the leading shopping mall operator Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. _
■ Navigating the user to their chosen parking location via the user's preferred navigation system (such as Google Maps).
Cleverciti recommends that instead of deploying a separate app for parking navigation, Cleverciti's mobile app features
should be integrated into the existing app(s) of the City, including MyRWC. This approach will:
■ Maximize the adoption of the City's current apps
■ Leverage the existing adoption of the City's current apps to increase use of the parking guidance data
■ Allow users to find all relevant Smart City data in a single source
Cleverciti develops its app in a way that it is easy to plug it into any third -party app such as MyRWC. This integration
requires the developer of the third -party app to be engaged, and any costs charged by the third -party are excluded from
this proposal.
In the event the City chooses not to integrate Cleverciti's app within its own existing app(s), Cleverciti can provide a
standalone app which delivers the above functionality. The cost of delivery of Cleverciti's standalone app or providing
Cleverciti's app to the City for integration into its own apps is included in this proposal.
Mobile Payment Application Integration
Cleverciti per -space location and occupancy data can be integrated into existing mobile payment applications, allowing
the driver to experience a seamless experience from finding a free parking space at the desired location to making the
payment, all in the same application.
Included with this proposal is a letter from PayByPhone confirming that we have had initial discussions about the potential
integration and that our companies are eager to collaborate to integrate our services and provide an unsurpassed parking
guidance experience in the City. By publishing per -space availability status to PayByPhone, the PayByPhone app would be
able to navigate a user directly to an available space, and subsequently pay for the space without leaving the app.
Redwoo
City Cal® ,
Copyright 02020 Cleverciti Systems GmbH.
