She introduced Debbi <br />Curran, with Keyser Marston Associates, was present and provided an <br />overview of the plan. <br /> <br />M/S Howard/Pierce to extend the meeting to 11: 10 p.m. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Curran provided an update on the agency plan (slide presentation on <br />file). She provided information about growth in the various areas and housing <br />data. Council asked questions about the goals and made suggestions about <br />applying for grants with other agencies. <br /> <br />Various Council Members made suggestions to tap into HEART and its funds as <br />well as C/CAG and ABAG. Council mentioned the various projects that have, <br />because of the agency, come to fruition and renewed the character of downtown. <br /> <br />Mayor Foust opened the public hearing. There was no public comment. <br /> <br />M/S Aguirre/Howard to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Conduct a public hearing to receive comments on the Mid-Term Update of the Five- <br />Year Implementation Plan 2005-2009 for Redwood City Redevelopment Project <br />Area No.2; receive and file Update. MO- 08-02 <br /> <br />9. ADJOURNMENT: Council Member Ira adjourned the meeting in memory of Nadine <br />Franceschini who passed away last week. Mrs. Franceschini is survived by her <br />husband Bob of 52 years and her children. She was very active in the community <br />and donated many hours to the Sequoia Awards. <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Hartnett to adjourn the meeting to the next Council meeting of <br />February 25, 2008.
