<br />6.38 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION <br />APPROVAL FOR EXTENSION OF WATER SERVICE OUTSIDE <br />JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT <br />CODE SECTION 56133 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has provided water service to the <br /> <br />existing residence at 1340 Edgewood Road, Unincorporated San Mateo County, <br /> <br />California (APN 058-030-030). which is outside the City's jurisdictional boundaries and <br /> <br />sphere of influence, but inside City's water service area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is processing an application for a <br /> <br />proposed subdivision of A.P.N. 058-030-030 into Parcels 1 and 2, as shown on Exhibit <br /> <br />"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the original lot at 1340 Edgewood Road is currently being <br /> <br />subdivided into two parcels with one existing residence located on Parcels 1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Development of a new single family home on Parcel 2 will require a <br /> <br />new water connection and service from the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has been requested by the property owner <br /> <br />of 1340 Edgewood Road, Unincorporated San Mateo County, California (APN 058-030- <br /> <br />030) to provide water service to 1340 Edgewood Road, Unincorporated San Mateo <br /> <br />county, Parcel 2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project is exempt from State CEQA Guidelines.
