The program launched
in spring 2020. The One Stop Shop program will also assess the City's permit review
process and provide feedback on the customer experience. The pilot program will
identify the particular needs of San Mateo County homeowners and how cities can best
support homeowners' needs in the permit review process. The City will continue to
work with Hello Housing on the pilot program throughout 2021.
The City will also continue to monitor best practices through its partnership with the
County and consider recommendations in an upcoming County -sponsored white paper
on increasing ADUs.
Respectfully,
Diane Howard
Mayor, City of Redwood City
Cc: Redwood City City Council
Melissa Stevenson Diaz, City Manager
133
