6.B. -QJ& cd17
Maple Street RW Vacation, Redwood City
May 2, 2018
Paae 2 of 2
and private easement areas that are above and beyond standard asphalt street improvements. The
specific proposed easement reservation language will follow.
2. Payment of Fee- The developer will pay SVCW an amount ("fee") that covers the cost for SVCW
staff and consultants to review and process your request for street vacation, including the cost of
preparing necessary easement reservation language; for the cost of modifying SVCW's existing
facilities in conjunction with your project (valves, et. al.); and for future projected increased costs
of construction and restoration resulting from your planned project. Cost estimates are presently
being prepared by SVCW's engineers and will follow. These cost projections will be used as a
basis for establishing the appropriate fee for the vacation consent and accommodation.
This letter is intended to provide you with written confirmation of our recent discussions and of SVCW's
responses to your request for consent to the planned vacation of a portion of Maple Street. We look forward
to working further with you to finalize these provisions.
27
