WHEREAS, on this date, the City Council held a public hearing in accordance with <br />Section 5849 of the 1911 Improvement Act, and all interested persons desiring to be heard on <br />all matters pertaining to the proposed dissolution of the Maintenance District were heard and a <br />full and fair hearing was held. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recitals Correct. The foregoing recitals are true and correct. <br />Section 2. Order of Dissolution. Having heard and passed upon any objections <br />and protests relating to the matters set forth in the Resolution of Intention, the City Council <br />hereby orders the dissolution of the Maintenance District, effective June 30, 2021, or such later <br />date determined by the City Council in order to collect any delinquent assessment installments. <br />In accordance with Section 5849 of the 1911 Improvement Act, the City Council's order shall be <br />final and conclusive. <br />Section 3. Order Regarding Maintenance Reserves. The City Council further <br />hereby orders that any remaining funds in the Maintenance District Reserves on June 30, 2021, <br />shall be transferred into one or more maintenance reserve funds to be established and held by <br />the City as a result of forming the CFD to provide for the services to be funded by the CFD. <br />Section 4. Notice of Lien Discharge. Pursuant to Streets & Highways Code <br />Section 3115(c), the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be recorded in the <br />Office of the San Mateo County Recorder a notice of the discharge of the Maintenance District. <br />The Recorder shall index the notice in the book containing the index of the Maps of <br />Assessment and Community Facilities Districts. <br />Section 5.
