Box 391 <br />Redwood City, CA 94064 <br />Dept: City Clerk <br /> <br />No ~entary Transfer Tax Due <br /> <br />BY'~ {Ar--l'1Ir~Q()J.H~ <br />Gr tor <br /> <br />Space above this line for Recorder's use <br /> <br />Governmental entity acquiring title <br />Tax exempt effective November 10, 1969 <br /> <br />GRANT OF EMERGENCY VEHICLE ACCESS & <br />PUBLIC INGRESS & EGRESS EASEMENT <br />(LANDS OF COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION) <br /> <br />The Grantor, COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION, a Washington <br />corporation, successor by merger to The Price Company, a certificate of articles of which <br />merger were recorded in the Official Records of San Mateo County on April 10, 2002, as <br />Document No. 2002-069704, hereby grants to the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee," its successors and assigns, a <br />non-exclusive public ingress and egress easement, including, without limitation, <br />emergency vehicle access, in, on, over, through, and across that certain real property <br />situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, <br />described and depicted in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated by herein by this <br />reference. <br /> <br />Except as otherwise required for emergency situations, Grantee shall exercise its <br />rights in connection with this easement so as to minimize interference with Grantor's use <br />and enjoyment of its property and with Grantor's business operations. <br /> <br />Grantor reserves the right to undertake and perform all construction and <br />maintenance of improvements in connection with the easement granted herein and also <br />reserves all rights with respect to the property which is subject to such easement, <br />including, but without limitation, the right to grant easements, licenses and permits to <br />others subject to the rights granted Grantee herein. <br />
