Box 391 Redwood City, CA 94064 Dept: City Clerk No ~entary Transfer Tax Due BY'~ {Ar--l'1Ir~Q()J.H~ Gr tor Space above this line for Recorder's use Governmental entity acquiring title Tax exempt effective November 10, 1969 GRANT OF EMERGENCY VEHICLE ACCESS & PUBLIC INGRESS & EGRESS EASEMENT (LANDS OF COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION) The Grantor, COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION, a Washington corporation, successor by merger to The Price Company, a certificate of articles of which merger were recorded in the Official Records of San Mateo County on April 10, 2002, as Document No. 2002-069704, hereby grants to the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee," its successors and assigns, a non-exclusive public ingress and egress easement, including, without limitation, emergency vehicle access, in, on, over, through, and across that certain real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described and depicted in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated by herein by this reference. Except as otherwise required for emergency situations, Grantee shall exercise its rights in connection with this easement so as to minimize interference with Grantor's use and enjoyment of its property and with Grantor's business operations. Grantor reserves the right to undertake and perform all construction and maintenance of improvements in connection with the easement granted herein and also reserves all rights with respect to the property which is subject to such easement, including, but without limitation, the right to grant easements, licenses and permits to others subject to the rights granted Grantee herein.
