Box 391 <br />Redwood City, CA 94064 <br />Dept: City Clerk <br /> <br />No D.zumentary Transfer Tax Due <br /> <br />84*- - (l..()\ \ \ltrLL <!.<MI\S.~ <br />ran r '- <br /> <br />Space above this line for Recorder's use <br /> <br />Governmental entity acquiring title <br />Tax exempt effective November 10, 1969 <br /> <br />GRANT OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT <br />(LANDS OF COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION) <br /> <br />The Grantor, COST CO WHOLESALE CORPORATION, a Washington <br />corporation, successor by merger to The Price Company, a certificate of articles of which <br />merger was recorded in the Official Records of San Mateo County on April 10, 2002, as <br />Document No. 2002-069704, hereby grants to the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee," its successors and assigns, a <br />non-exclusive public service easement for underground utilities in, on, under, through, <br />and across that certain real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San <br />Mateo, State of California, described and depicted in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and <br />incorporated by herein by this reference. <br /> <br />The interest granted herein to Grantee includes but is not limited to the right of <br />ingress and egress, and the right to install, construct, maintain, replace, and remove (with <br />the same or different size and type of improvements) sewer, water, storm drain, and other <br />underground utilities. <br /> <br />Grantee shall provide Grantor with at least five (5) days prior written notice of its <br />intent to enter upon Grantor's property to commence any work in connection with the <br />easement ("Work") and shall coordinate with Grantor the dates of the Work. Grantee <br />shall exercise its rights in connection with this easement so as to minimize interference <br />with Grantor's use and enjoyment of its property and with Grantor's business operations. <br />Immediately after the completion of any Work, Grantee shall remove all debris and <br />restore Grantor's property to the condition in which it was prior to the commencement of <br />the Work. <br /> <br />1 <br />
