EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon Management & Environmental Consulting Services as <br />delineated below. <br />a. Environmental Consulting. <br />Contractor shall provide expertise to City staff and represent City, if requested by the <br />City, in dealing with regulatory agencies for all matters relating to the management of <br />the Redwood Shores Lagoon system, including compliance with the State Water <br />Resources Control Board's Statewide General Permit No. CAG990005. <br />Further, Contractor shall accompany and participate with City staff at community <br />meetings, as needed. Contractor shall also consult and assist in obtaining required <br />permits as necessitated by any proposed activities within the Redwood Shores <br />Lagoon. <br />b. Lagoon Monitoring Events. <br />Lagoon monitoring events shall consist of surveys conducted by the Contractor to <br />ensure the City has a constant and accurate assessment of lagoon conditions and <br />that all laws and regulations are being followed at all times as the work progresses. <br />Lagoon monitoring activities shall be conducted concurrently and shall include: <br />• Trash and Debris Monitoring — Contractor shall monitor levels of trash and <br />debris in the lagoon and remove as much as possible during monitoring <br />events <br />• Plant & Algae Monitoring - Contractor shall monitor plant and algae growth <br />to aid in setting schedules and advise City of recommended actions (i.e. <br />chemical application, manual/mechanical harvesting needs, etc.). <br />Contractor shall ensure that all laws and regulations are being followed at <br />all times as the work progresses. <br />• Weekly Work Plan — Following each Lagoon Monitoring Event, a weekly <br />work plan must be submitted to the City in writing within 24 -hours. Reports <br />shall detail all findings of debris, trash, plant and algae monitoring with an <br />outline of work to be conducted for the remainder of the week. <br />• The tentative Lagoon Monitoring Event schedule shall be as follows.- <br />Spring <br />ollows. <br />Spring (Apr -May) = Bi -monthly (4 events); <br />REV: 11-24-2020 MI <br />ATTY/AGR.2020.271/SOLitude Lake Management, LLC (Lagoon Management & Environmental Consulting Servi) (Page 11 of 15) <br />
