From: -
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Support for Sequoia Station project
Date: Monday, January 25, 2021 10:53:23 PM
CAUTION: This email originated from outside your organization. Exercise caution when
opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders.
Dear Redwood City Council:
Thank you for your work on this project. As a native of San Carlos who has been taking
advantage of Caltrain for my whole life, and as someone who wishes to find affordable
housing in the Bay Area as an adult, I would like to express my strong support for the
improvement to the Caltrain system that would be made possible by this project, and support
for the development of mixed-use buildings, especially housing. Tonight someone mentioned
trying to make sure affordable housing was mixed with market -rate housing, and I would like
to advocate for that proposal as well. Cross-town transportation and potential connections to
the Dumbarton Express/East Bay are super important to this whole area, connecting my
friends in the East Bay to this side of the Bay.
Thank you for your time.
Mary Seerveld
