The bid mentions 6 foot and 5 foot but are there widths?
A: The six-foot tables should be 36" deep, and the five foot tables should be 30" deep.
Q: Will all the tables and chairs be delivered simultaneously on the same day?
A: Yes
Q: Will the City of Redwood use a special contract for pricing?
A: No
Q: Is everything being installed on the ground floor? If not, is there an accessible elevator to the installation
area?
A: The Downtown Library items will be installed on three different levels, all of which are accessible by elevator.
Redwood Shores and Schaberg items will all be installed on the ground level.
Q: Will you publish the questions and answers of other bidders?
A: Yes. We will put responses to all questions received on the website by Wednesday 12/23/2020 (and I will also
email to everyone who has contacted me.)
Q: Who are the other dealers bidding on this RFP?
A: Responses go to our City Clerk, and I will not know who has submitted a bid until after the deadline (with a
couple days allowed for postmarked submissions to arrive.).
Q: Does the install labor need to be union or prevailing wage for any locations?
Yes, installation labor should be prevailing wage for the entire project.
Q: Will the labor include removing or storage of existing furniture?
A: No, removal and storage of existing furniture will be handled in-house by the City.
Q: Will labor be during regular work hours or overtime? / Can all deliveries take place during business hours?
A: Work can be completed during normal business hours.
Q: I see that you've got the pricing table in the RFP per item. In the end are you going to want different quotes
per location or will this all be on one quote?
A: Please include everything for all locations in a single quote.
Q: There does not appear to be any request for a chair cart/dolly to aid in relocation and storage of the chaise
if needed. Will this be added as a revision?
A: We may be able to reuse existing carts, so we are not including them in the scope of the project at this time.
159
