<br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Proposal to Prepare an Initial Study and. <br />Environmental Impact Report at the Remaining <br />Undeveloped Portion of Laurel Way in Redwood City <br /> <br />Background <br />MHA I RMT understands that the City of Redwood City has determined an Initial Study (IS) and <br />an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) will be necessary to determine, evaluate, and mitigate <br />environmental impacts associated with a proposal for the development of the undeveloped <br />portion of Laurel Way in Redwood City (see Figure 1). The project site is approximately 5.1 acres <br />in size and is divided into 19 lots. One lot would remain as undeveloped open space, and the 18 <br />remaining lots would be developed as single family detached residences. <br />MHA I RMT also understands that the applicant has submitted a biological site assessment, a <br />storm drainage report, an arborist report, and a geologic and geotechnical report to support the <br />review of the proposed project. The applicant is also in the process of preparing a traffic study for <br />the project. Each of these documents will require peer review as part of the preparation of the IS <br />and EIR. <br /> <br />Approach <br /> <br />The MHA I RMT approach to the project is to work closely with the City of Redwood City to <br />define the project, to facilitate City review of the environmental documents, and to prepare the <br />environmental documents according to the defined schedule. <br /> <br />Business Value <br /> <br />The MHA I RMT team will bring significant value to the City of Redwood City in providing these <br />services based on our: <br /> <br />.
