MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> November 6, 2000 <br /> MO. 00-330 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: November 7, 2000 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Joel Patterson <br /> <br />SUBJECT Peninsula Transportation Plan 2010 - Recommendations <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on November 6, 2000. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmember Hartnett, Howard, Ira, Jordan, Pierce, Vice Mayor Claire and <br /> Mayor Ruskin <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br /> The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: Hartnett/Jordan to forward the following recommendations to <br /> C/CAG: <br /> <br /> 1. Adopt the Peninsula Transportation Plan 2010 in concept with the <br /> reservation that with respect to the electrification that we proceed to cost <br /> benefit analysis of electrification and further study the matter; <br /> 2. Urge the merging of county-wide agencies that deal with transportation <br /> and regional planning, not necessarily into one agency, but preserving <br /> the predominance of City representation and any agency that deals with <br /> transportation issues; <br /> 3.Place the reauthorization of Measure "A' on the ballot; <br /> 4. Invest transportation money in those projects that have the greatest <br /> positive impact (similar to the method used for ranking road <br /> construction projects). <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br /> Patricia S.
