ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT <br />COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD <br /> <br />CALENDAR <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />Joan O'Keefe spoke about expanding the "rebirth" of downtown to other areas of the city. <br />Ms. O'Keefe lives on a street that is mixed use on the 800 block of Walnut Avenue and she <br />shared some concerns regarding safety. She pointed out issues related to code <br />enforcement, the lack of cleanliness and the possibility of a fire in the area. <br /> <br />Mayor Foust thanked Ms. O'Keefe for her remarks and referred the matter to Interim City <br />Manager Ingram. Ms. O'Keefe thanked Council Member Bain for visiting the site. <br /> <br />Mike Giari, Executive Director (Port of Redwood City) announced an upcoming event that <br />will take place at the Port. The event is the 2008 Stanford Treeathlon that will take place on <br />March 2, 2008 and is part of the Stanford's Triathlon Club. Sara Lux, with Stanford <br />University, reported that five hundred racers are expected to attend. Mr. Giari thanked the <br />various City Departments that are cooperating and referred those interested to a website <br />(http://triathlon.stanford.edu/treeathlonL) that has additional information. <br /> <br />M/S Aguirrellra to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carries unanimously by a roll <br />call vote. <br /> <br />6.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br />A.
