<br />7A(1) <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Attachment II <br />Executive Summary - Annual <br />Action Plan by Priority <br /> <br />FY 2008/2009 FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS BY PRIORITY1 <br /> <br />ENTITLEMENT & REPROGRAMMED FUNDS <br /> <br />PRIORITY # 1: Promote affordable housing for all populations by increasing the <br />number of affordable, accessible, decent safe and sanitary, and ownership units for <br />low and moderate income households. <br /> <br />$60,509 HOME - Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Setaside: These <br />funds will be reserved for use by an eligible CHDO for housing acquisition, rehabilitation or <br />new construction. The specific activity and organization are unknown at this time. These <br />funds are setaside by federal statute and represents 15% of the annual HOME entitlement. <br /> <br />$50,000 HOME - Down Payment Assistance Program - Living City Partners, 1800 <br />Broadway. These funds will be used to assist First Time Homebuyer to purchase <br />designated housing units constructed under a homeowners hip sustainability program that <br />combines an IDA savings account with a 10 year affordable housing opportunity. <br /> <br />$125,000 CDBG - Program Income - Home Improvement Loan Program: City of Redwood <br />City, 1017 Middlefield Road. These funds are used to provide funds for rehabilitation loans <br />on single family owner occupied property. The program is offered citywide, and targeted to <br />Census Tracts # 6101,6102,6104,6107, 6108, 6109 and 6113. <br /> <br />$75,000 CDBG - $100,000 COBG Proqram Income: <br />Home Improvement Program Support: City of Redwood City, 1017 Middlefield Road. <br />These funds will pay program support costs for the operation of the Housing Rehabilitation <br />Loan Programs and Tenant Assistance Programs. Eligible costs are limited to staff, <br />supplies and support costs directly related to carrying out the loan programs. <br /> <br />$30,000 CDSG - Housing Accessibility Modification Program: Center for the Independence <br />of the Disabled, 875 O'Neill Ave, Belmont. These funds will be used to provide citywide <br />accessibility improvements to residences occupied by home owners and renters who are <br />physically challenged, are elderly and fragile, or non elderly and have other disabilities. <br /> <br />$200,691 CDSG - $96,573.72 HOME: <br />Wy's House Rehab & Unit Construction, Kainos Home & Training Center, 2033 Jefferson <br />Avenue. These funds will be used to make health and safety improvements on an existing <br />independent living center for developmentally disabled adults, and site clearance & site <br />improvements relating to expanding special needs housing. <br /> <br />$75,000 CDSG - Proqram Income - Multifamilv Loan Proqram: City of Redwood <br />City, 1017 Middlefield Road. These funds are used to leverage CDSG funds for <br />rehabilitation loans on rental property occupied by low income tenants. The program is <br />offered citywide but targeted to Census Tracts # 6101,6102,6104,6107,6108 and <br /> <br />2 <br />
