These funds will be used to support operating costs for an emergency <br />shelter for homeless individuals. <br /> <br />$12,000 COBG - Spring Street Shelter, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County, <br />2686 Spring Street. These funds will be used to support operating costs for a citywide <br />emergency shelter for homeless individuals who have mental disabilities. <br /> <br />Additional Basic Human Needs and Intervention Programs will be funded by Human <br />Services Financial Assistance (HSFA) Program of the City general fund. These services <br />will primarily meet Priorities # 2. <br /> <br />PRIORITY # 3: Implement Non-Housing Community Oevelopment Activities to Provide <br />Economic and Physical Improvements and Facilities for Social Programs in Low Income <br />Neighborhoods <br /> <br />$20,000 COBG - Fair Oaks Community Center Multi-Purpose Room Audio Accessibility <br />Project, City of Redwood City, 2600 Middlefield Road. These funds will be used to install <br />an accessible audio system in the Multi Purpose Room of the Fair Oaks Community Center <br />for the hearing impaired. This facility is located in Census Tract # 6102. <br /> <br />$321,000 COBG $179,000 HOME: <br />Hope House for Men Acquisition, Service League of San Mateo County, Site unknown. <br />These funds will be used toward acquisition of a site to provide transitional housing for <br />persons re-entering the community from prison facilities. Services will be available citywide <br />to qualified applicants. <br /> <br />$100,000 CDBG - Phase II Emergency Shelter Rehab, Community Overcoming <br />Relationship Abuse (CORA). These funds will be used to support code repairs and <br />accessibility improvements at a shelter for victims of domestic violence. Location <br />suppressed for security purposes. <br /> <br />$29,000 COBG - Swimming Pool Refurbishing, Sequoia YMCA, 1445 Hudson Street. <br />These funds will be used to make improvements to the swimming pool at the local YMCA <br />for use by low income kids, seniors and persons with disabilities. <br />This facility is located in Census Tract # 6108. <br /> <br />4 <br />
