<br />7C <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT 3 <br /> <br />Notice of Proposed Increases in Water & Sewer Rates <br /> <br />Proposed new water rates <br />The City of Redwood City staff has recommended that service charges and consumption rates for <br />water be increased, primarily due to a projected 7 - 10% increase in the cost of wholesale water <br />from the City and County of San Francisco and increased debt service associated with financing <br />the City's Recycled Water Project. The proposed increases are as follows: <br /> <br />. Increase monthly residential Basic Service Charge from $15.60 to $16.05, effective June <br />20, 2008. <br />. April 28. 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at City <br />Hall. 1017 Middlefield Road. At the hearing, the City Council will consider public comments, as <br />welt as any written protests against the proposed water increases.
