<br />04/2812008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14858 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY MAKING <br />DETERMINATION OF PROPERTY TAX EXCHANGE PURSUANT <br />TO PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 282, SECTION 59, PART 0.05, <br />IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTICLE XIIIA OF THE CALIFORNIA <br />CONSTITUTION COMMENCING WITH SECTION 95, DIVISION 1, <br />OF THE REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, State of <br />California, that; <br />WHEREAS, State law requires that the Town of Woodside, Woodside Fire <br />Protection District and City of City of Redwood City negotiate a property tax exchange <br />relating to the proposed reorganization involving detachment of a portion of APN 068- <br />320-340, being a portion of Canada College Campus, (Lands of San Mateo County <br />Community College District) from the Town of Woodside and Woodside Fire Protection <br />District and annexation to the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Cities and District have agreed there shall be no transfer of <br />property tax because the subject territory is not assessed; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject determination has been made prior to and as a condition <br />precedent to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission issuing <br />the Certificate of Filing on said proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been agreed that no property tax revenue will be transferred <br />from the City of Woodside and Woodside Fire District to the City of Redwood City, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City takes this action as the City of Woodside <br />and the Woodside Fire Protection District have each adopted their respective <br />resolutions memorializing that no property tax revenue transfer will result from the <br />above-described reorganization. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />ATTY/RESO/RESO.1803 14858 <br />041108 formerly muff# 304 <br />
