<br />04/28/2008 <br /> <br />Governments for San Mateo County on or before April 30, 2008 shall be <br />incorporated into the Final Allocation." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 14814 on October <br />8, 2007 indicating support for the Proposed Final Housing Allocation and the <br />aforementioned adjustment process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City wishes to request the anticipated housing <br />allocation adjustment set forth below in anticipation of the annexation of a 3.3-acre <br />vacant parcel located on the Canada College campus from the Town of Woodside into <br />Redwood City's jurisdiction for the purpose of building a 50-unit faculty/staff rental <br />housing project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ABAG intends to adopt the final housing needs allocation for the <br />entire Bay Area, including the allocation for the San Mateo County Sub-region, at the <br />regular meeting of the ABAG Executive Board in May, 2008; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated <br />herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> <br />2. The City of Redwood City agrees to increase the housing allocation of the City of <br />Redwood City by 24 units concomitant with a decrease of the housing allocation of the <br />Town of Woodside by 24 units (the "Adjustment"). <br /> <br />3.
