7A <br /> ATTACHMENT 2 Pa9e �� <br /> RESOLUTiON NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCtL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY ADOPTtNG THE RECYCLED WATER SERVICE AREA MAP IN <br /> CONNECTtON WITH THE CITY'S ORDINANCE REGARDING <br /> RECYCLED WATER USE <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 14544, the City approved a mitigated negative <br /> declaration for the Redwood Ci#y Recycied Water Project ("Project"), which consists of <br /> infrastructure facilities (transmission and distribution pipelines, pump stations, storage <br /> reservoirs and minor appurtenant facilities) to deliver disinfected tertiary treated <br /> recycled water from the South Bayside System Authority wastewater treatment plant to <br /> customers in #he Redwood Shores, Greater Bayfront and Centrai Redwoocf City srea <br /> ("Recycled Water Service Area� attached hereto as Exhibit "A"}, as weft as other <br /> potential customers inside and outside of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resofutian No. 14547, the City approved the Project, which wifl <br /> provide recycled water to customers in the Recycled Wafer Service Area for nonpotable <br /> uses approved by the State; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City that recycled water shall be used for <br /> nonpotable uses within the Recycled Water Service Area; and <br /> WHERE�IS, a map, showing the precise iocation of the Recycled Water Service <br /> Area, as adopted by Reso{ution No. 14544, is attached ta this Resolution for <br /> consideration by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with this Resotution, the Cauncil will also be <br /> cansidering an "Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, California, Add"sng Article Vfl to <br /> Atty/ResolReso.1811 � <br /> 05�608 <br />
