7A <br /> ATTACHMENT 2 Pa9@ � � <br /> RESOLUTlON NO. <br /> A RES4LUTION OF THE CITY C�UNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDW�t3D <br /> CITY ADOPTING THE RECYCLED WATER SERVICE AREA MAP lN <br /> CONNECTION WiTH THE CITY'S ORDINANCE REGARDlNG <br /> RECYCLED WATER USE <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 14544, the City approved a mitigated negative <br /> deciaration for the Redwood City Recycied Water Project ("Projectn), which consists of <br /> infrastructure facilities (transmission and distribution pipelines, pump stat9ons, storage <br /> reservoirs and minar appurtenant facilities) to deliver disinfected tertiary treated <br /> recycled water from the South Bayside System Authority wastewater treatment plant to <br /> customers in the Redwaod Shores, Greater Bayfront and Cen#ral Redwood City area <br /> ("Recycled Water Service Arean attached hereto as Exhibit "A"}, as well as other <br /> potential customers inside and autside of the Ciiy; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 14547, the City approved the Project, wfiich wiil <br /> provide recycled water to customers in the Recycled Water Service Area for nonpotable <br /> uses approved by the State; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the policy af the Ci#y that recycled water shall be used for <br /> nonpotabie uses within the Recycled Water Service Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, a map, showing the precise location of the Recycfed Water Service <br /> Area, as adopted by Resoiution No. 14544, is attached to #his Resolution for <br /> consideration by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with this Resalu#ion, the Counci� will also be <br /> cansidering an "Qrdinance of the City af Redwood City, California, Add"sng Article VII tQ <br /> Atty/ResalReso.1811 � <br /> 050608 <br />
