The County of San Mateo gave awards to South San Francisco and <br /> Redwood City recognizing them for their tireless efforts to expand access to high quality, <br /> affordable child care in San Mateo County. He stated that the City has been recognized for <br /> leadership in seeking ways to increase opportunities for high quality childcare. <br /> <br /> In addition to that award, Council Member Ruskin stated the City received a Certificate of <br /> Appreciation from the California State Assembly signed by Assemblyman Joe Simitian.
