<br />5.4A <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.44 OF CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE <br />IV OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO <br />REDUCE THE LEGAL SPEED LIMIT ON VARIOUS DESIGNATED <br />STREETS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.44 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 20.44. It is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering <br /> <br />and traffic survey that a speed greater than the speed permitted by State law <br /> <br />would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic and would be <br />reasonable and safe upon the following streets, and it is hereby declared that the <br /> <br />prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth on those streets or <br /> <br />portions thereof herein designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof: <br /> <br />Name of Street <br />Portions Affected <br /> <br />Declared Prima <br />Facie SPeed Limit <br /> <br />A.
