<br />H. Award of Contract - 2007-2008 Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal Project. <br /> <br />Staff contact: M. Saber Sarwary, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer 780-7370 ssarwary@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the 2007- <br />2008 Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal Project to the lowest responsible bidder, <br />International Surfacing Systems of Modesto, for their low bid of $698,388.56 and <br />authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% <br />of the amount awarded. <br /> <br />I. Award of Contract - 2007-2008 Slurry Seal Project <br /> <br />Staff contact: M. Saber Sarwary, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer 780-7370 ssarwary@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the 2007- <br />2008 Slurry Seal Project to the lowest responsible bidder, American Asphalt Repair <br />and Resurfacing Co., Inc. of Hayward, for their low bid of $410,085.31 and authorize <br />the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the <br />amount awarded. <br /> <br />6.2 Section - Resolution <br /> <br />A. Authorization of Strategic Economics for Access to California State Board of <br />Equalization Sales and Use Tax Records and Approval of Non-Disclosure <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Staff Contact: Tom Passanisi, Principal Planner, 780-7237 tpassanisi@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution designating Strategic Economics as an authorized <br />representative of Redwood City so as to have access to all City sales and use <br />tax records of the California State Board of Equalization; <br />2. Approve Non-Disclosure Agreement with Strategic Economics. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD OF <br />EQUALIZATION PERMIT STRATEGIC ECONOMICS TO EXAMINE ALL OF THE SALES <br />AND USE TAX RECORDS OF THE SAID BOARD PERTAINING TO SALES AND USE <br />TAXES COLLECTED FOR THE CITY BY THE SAID BOARD; AND CERTIFYING THAT <br />STRATEGIC ECONOMICS MEET ALL OF THE CONDITIONS MANDATED BY <br />CALIFORNIA REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE SECTION 7056 (B) (1) <br /> <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD <br />MEETING AGENDA <br /> <br />JUNE 23, 2008 <br />PAGE 4 <br />
