3/26/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14138 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH <br />THE SPORTS FIELD IMPROVEMENTS AT HOOVER SCHOOL <br />(THE BEALS SPORTS COLLABORATIVE) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires improvements of Hoover <br />School playing field in the City of Redwood City (the "Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting engineering and design services; and <br />WHEREAS, The Beals Sports Collaborative of San Jose, California, <br />represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the <br />aforesaid services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Engineering and Design Services — Sports Field Improvements Project at Hoover <br />School' (form dated 3/14/01), by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and The Beals Sports <br />Collaborative, for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy of <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br />is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City <br />Reso -1106 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F: /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />03/14/01 <br />
