Pursuant to Elections CodeS 9255, the <br />initiative petition must be signed by 15 percent (15%) of the registered voters of the <br />City. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code 99210, all sections submitted were <br />examined and found to contain approximately 8.124 unverified signatures, prima <br />facie, which is in excess of the 5,268 minimum number of signatures required in <br />order to qualify for filing. Therefore, above referenced petition is deemed filed as of <br />May 28. 2008. The purpose of this receipt is to provide the number of the <br />unverified signatures only and the City takes no position on th at" ity of the <br />petitions or the signatures at this time. <br /> <br /> <br />I la M.
