As part of our work to <br />date we have performed a number of tasks that were not anticipated in our original scope of <br />services. These include the following: <br /> <br />Attend 17 staff, consultant, and/or Stanford planning team meetings; a total of 8 meetings <br />were budgeted in the original scope of work. <br />Prepare alternative site development and parking concept plans, related 3D plan <br />illustrations, and revisions per City staff. <br />Review and prepare summary memorandum re: "Stanford in Redwood City" design <br />guidelines document. <br />Prepare street design concepts for Broadway, illustrating streetcar and/or bus facilities, <br />medians, bikeways, streets cape, etc. <br /> <br />Tasks still to be completed include preparation of public distribution and final drafts of the <br />precise plan and related meetings, public hearings, and plan revisions. In addition to the tasks <br />initially budgeted, I anticipate that the following additional tasks will be needed: <br /> <br />An additional draft of the precise plan for review by the Stanford team prior to preparation <br />of the public distribution draft and related review and revisions. <br />Coordination with City staff, and EIR and traffic consultants regarding a circulation concept <br />and related capital improvements program. <br /> <br />Costs for services to complete the project going forward are outlined on the attached <br />spreadsheet and total approximately $19,730. New/additional tasks are indicated by italics, other <br />tasks are per our original scope of services. The combined total for work going forward and <br />additional work already performed is $27,030 ($19,730 + $7,300). <br /> <br />We respectfully request that our work order be amended to increase from $40,120 to $67,150 to <br />allow for the additional services needed.
