ORIGINAL CONTRACT City of Redwood City Site Address: Redwood Shores Community Library 399 Marine Parkway Redwood City, CA PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION OF FURNITURE AND FURNISHINGS FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY LIBRARY PROJECT This Agreement is made this ..fjday of , 2008 between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corpor i n in the State of California ("Owner" or "City"), and PIVOT INTERIORS, INC., a California corporation C ctor"). The work described in Section 1 below shall be performed in accordance with the all plans, specifications and other contract documents attached to or incorporated into this Contract. In February 2008, the City issued a Request for Proposals for the procurement and installation of furniture and furnishings for the Redwood Shores Community Library (the "Work"). The following documents are incorporated into and made part of this Contract by this reference: . Request for Proposals dated February 25, 2008 . Contractor's Proposal Form dated May 6, 2008 . Schedule of Work . Noncollusion Affidavit . Contractor's certificate regarding workers compensation . Certificate of Insurance and Endorsements The documents shall be referred to collectively as the "Contract Documents". SECTION 1 - SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, plant, services, engineering, testing and/or any other act or thing required to diligently and fully perform and complete the work described in the Request for Proposals. Contractor shall comply with all requirements of the Contract Documents. Where there is a conflict between the requirements of the several Contract Documents, the more stringent requirements shall govern. Contractor's scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: . Submit all required samples, product data, certificates, operations and maintenance instructions, guarantees, and other submittals no later than five (5) days after the date the City issues a Notice to Proceed. . Protect all materials to be used in the Work in accordance with the specifications.
