<br />1. That this Council: <br /> <br />(a) Approves the filing of an application for an <br />appropriation from the General Fund for Hoover <br />School Park in the City of Redwood City pursuant <br />to the Roberti - Z'Berg Open-Space and Recreation <br />Program; and <br /> <br />(b) Certifies that the City of Redwood City understands <br />the general provisions to be included in any agreement <br />between the City of Redwood City and the State of <br />California for the receipt of such funds by the City; and <br /> <br />(c) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or will <br />have sufficient funds to operate and maintain Hoover <br />School Park which is to be funded pursuant to the <br />abovementioned program; and <br /> <br />(d) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or will <br />have available prior to the commencment of any work <br />on Hoover School Park matching money from a non-state <br />source; and <br /> <br />(e) Certifies that Hoover School Park ~onforms to the <br />Park and Recreation Element of the General Plan <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to conduct <br /> <br />all negotiations, execute and submit all documents (including but <br /> <br />not limited to applications, agreements, amendments, and payment <br /> <br />requests) which may be necessary for the improvements to be constructed <br /> <br />at Hoover School Park in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. That the City Attorney is authorized and directed to sign <br /> <br />the required certification on the application for an appropriation <br /> <br />from the General Fund for Hoover School Park. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
