The bill was approved by the Senate on July 11. However, <br />House leaders considered removing it to appease the White House, which had threatened last week to <br />veto the measure jf it contained those funds. <br /> <br />Take Action <br /> <br />The full House is scheduled to vote on HR 3221 on Wednesday, July 23. The League asks officials to <br />contact congressional representatives immediately in support of the legislation.
