<br /> -,WC:djg-c 7/9/81 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> JUL 1 3 1981 <br />R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N o. 8896 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE HAWES PARK COMFORT <br />STATION; APPROVING REVISED SPECIFICATIONS; AND AUTHOR- <br />IZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8849, adopted May 18, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of a <br /> <br />comfort station at Hawes Park in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for said construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this Council <br /> <br />that the bids received for the construction of said comfort station <br /> <br />should be rejected and has further recommended to this Council that <br /> <br />it approve revised specifications for the construction of the Hawes <br /> <br />Park Comfort Station; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS; <br /> <br />1. The bids received by the City for the construction of the <br /> <br />Hawes Park Comfort Station are hereby rejected. All security <br /> <br />guaranteeing the bids of the bidders is hereby returned. <br /> <br />2. Those certain revised specifications on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, entitled "Special provisions For The Hawes Park <br /> <br />Comfort Station Redwood City, California" are hereby approved. <br /> <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to call <br /> <br />for bids for the construction of the Hawes Park Comfort Station as <br /> <br />described in the aforementioned revised specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 896 <br />
