3/26/01 <br />0 R I 6 I Id A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14174 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL <br />OF APPLICATION TO THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY TRAIL <br />PROJECT FOR 2001 PLANNING GRANT IN CONNECTION WITH <br />THE BLOMQUIST STREET EXTENSION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to implement the planning, <br />design, and feasibility studies of future Bay Trail development, as part of the <br />Blomquist Street Extension Project in the City of Redwood City ('Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to apply for the 2001 Planning Grant <br />offered by the San Francisco Bay Trail Project, a nonprofit organization <br />administered by the Association of Bay Area Governments ( "ABAG "), to <br />implement the planning, design, and feasibility studies of future Bay Trail <br />development relating to the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain application to the San Francisco Bay Trail Project for the <br />2001 Planning Grant for grant funds in the total amount of Seventy Thousand <br />and No /100 Dollars ($70,000.00) for fiscal year 2001 funding, entitled, "The San <br />Francisco Bay Trail Regional Development Program — Grant Application Form" <br />for the Project, a copy of which application is on file in the office of the <br />Community Development Services Director, to which copy reference is hereby <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br />Reso -1103 1 <br />FXS:dik <br />F: /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />03/12/01 <br />
