Vegetated Buffer Strip No. 5 is the landscaped area along the entire property frontage <br />along Middlefield Road from the back of sidewalk to the back of the street curb. <br /> <br />I. Routine Maintenance Activities <br /> <br />The principal maintenance objective for vegetated buffer strips is to achieve the pollutant <br />removal efficiency of the buffer strip, as designed, by maintaining a dense, healthy <br />vegetated cover. Routine maintenance activities, and the frequency at which they will be <br />conducted, are shown in Table 1. <br /> <br /> Table 1 <br /> Routine Maintenance Activities for Vegetated Buffer Strips <br />No. Maintenance Task Frequency of Task <br />1 Mow turf grass to (Not Applicable).
