<br />Recommendation: <br />1. Consider adoption of Resolution submitting the proposed City Council Measure <br />amending City Charter to the voters of Redwood City. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />CALIFORNIA, SUBMITTING TO THE VOTERS "THE VOTER APPROVAL <br />REQUIREMENT REGARDING FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF CARGILL LANDS, <br />("MAJORITY VOTE AMENDMENT"), A PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT <br /> <br />2. Adopt a resolution requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of San <br />Mateo to consolidate the Redwood City special municipal election with the <br />statewide general election to be held on November 4, 2008. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />CALIFORNIA REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF <br />SAN MATEO TO CONSOLIDATE A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON <br />NOVEMBER 4, 2008, WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON <br />THE DATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 10403 OF THE ELECTIONS CODE <br /> <br />4. Authorize the City Clerk to enter into a Service Agreement for the provision of <br />election services with the San Mateo County Chief Elections Officer to conduct <br />a special election for the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />5.
