Purpose of City Council Hearing <br />Consider Stanford University Request to Initiate: <br />General Plan Amendment <br />? <br />Zoning Map Amendment and <br />? <br />Precise Plan <br />? <br />This would not be a final decisionon whether or not to change the General Plan and <br /> <br />Zoning Map to allow the project; instead it is a request for Council to consider whether or <br />not to further study the project as proposed. <br />As proposed, the project would require future General Plan and Zoning Map Amendments. <br /> <br />Precise Plans have been the zoning tool used for other large campus plans such as Kaiser <br />and Sequoia Hospital campuses. <br />
