<br />6.1A <br />Page 16 <br /> <br />and any educational incentive pay, prorated to an hourly amount, that <br />the employee receives pursuant to Section 7.4, Section 7.5, Section <br />7.6, Section 7.8, and Section 7.9 herein. Premium pay under Section <br />7.4 includes night differential, investigation division differential, <br />motorcycle differential, canine differential, field training officer <br />differential, and C-CAT, PAL and DARE differentials. In the event that <br />the City and the POA agree to establish any additional forms of <br />premium pay, such newly created forms of premium pay will also be <br />included in computing the overtime rate of pay. <br /> <br />7.12.3 Compensatory Time <br /> <br />Upon request employees represented by the Association shall be <br />compensated for such overtime in compensatory time off to a <br />maximum accumulation of eighty (80) hours of compensatory time off. <br />Additional compensatory time may be granted, over the eighty (80) <br />hours, upon approval of the Police Chief, on a case by case basis. <br /> <br />7.13 Uniforms and Safety Equipment <br /> <br />7.13.1 The City shall furnish, at its own expense, all safety equipment <br />required by the City, consisting of service pistol, rain gear, flashlight, <br />handcuffs, PR-24 baton, soft body armor threat levellla, leather gear <br />to include utility belt, chemical agent holder, holster, handcuff case, <br />ammunition holders, baton ring, and four (4) keeper straps. Riot <br />helmet and protective gas mask shall be provided by the City as <br />needed. Such furnished safety equipment and any and aU <br />replacements furnished by the City at any time shall remain the <br />property of and under the control of the City. <br /> <br />Use of soft body armor shall be optional, and shall not be required by <br />the City. <br /> <br />The City will provide for all new Police Officers the following articles <br />of uniform clothing: <br /> <br />3 pairs of pants <br />3 long-sleeve shirts <br />3 short-sleeve shirts <br />1 underbelt <br />1 cold weather (non-leather) jacket with patches <br />1 dress cap or baseball cap with patch (officer's choice) <br />1 dress tie <br />2 name tags <br />$125.00 maximum annual reimbursement for boots (purchase or <br />resoling). <br /> <br />10 <br />
