<br />6.3A <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />REQUESTING THE lOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION <br />APPROVAL EXTENSION OF WATER SERVICE OUTSIDE <br />JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT <br />CODE SECTION 56133 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has provided water service to the <br /> <br />existing residence at 720 Paradise Way, Unincorporated San Mateo County, California <br /> <br />(Parcel A: APN 068-162-400 and Parcel B: APN 068-162-410), which is within the City's <br /> <br />sphere of influence and the City's water service area, but outside the City's jurisdictional <br /> <br />boundaries; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcels composing 720 Paradise Way were merged in 1979 and <br /> <br />are currently being resubdivided into two parcels with one existing residence located on <br /> <br />Parcel B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Development of Parcel A will require a new water connection and <br /> <br />service from the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owner of 720 Paradise Way, Unincorporated San <br /> <br />Mateo County, (Parcel A: APN 068-162-400 and Parcel B: APN 068-162-410) has <br /> <br />requested City water service to 720 Paradise Way, Unincorporated San Mateo County, <br /> <br />Parcel A; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is processing an application for proposed <br /> <br />resubdivision of the parcels (Parcel A: APN 068-162-400 and Parcel B: APN 068-162- <br /> <br />410), and new single family home that requires water service from the City on Parcel A; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />ATTYIRESO/RESO.1853 <br />082608 <br /> <br />1 <br />
