<br />APPLICABLE CODES AND STANDARDS <br /> <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 RULES AND REGULA TrONS <br /> <br />A. All work done and materials and equipment transported, handled, stored or <br />installed shall be done in strict conformance with the applicable orders, rules <br />and regulations of the State of California, Division of Industrial Safety, and <br />with all other State, County, City or District requirements. Nothing contained <br />in these specifications or shown or noted on the plans shall be construed to <br />permit work not conforming to these orders, rules and regulations. <br /> <br />B. When plans or specification call for material or construction of a better quality <br />or larger size than may be required by applicable codes or standards, the <br />provisions of the plans and/or specifications shall take precedence over the <br />requirements of the code or standard.
