C, Milpitas, CA 95035 <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br />~r.t.iALLIES <br /> <br />Now Timos <br /> <br />siliconvalley@publicallies.org <br />Phone 408.586.7633 Fax 408.586.7637 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 2008-2009 <br /> <br />This Memorandum of Understanding outlines the financial agreement between Public Allies Silicon <br />Valley and City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center. This MOU is an addendum to the <br />complete contract; a copy is attached to this document. <br /> <br />City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center agrees to: <br />. Pay their portion of the Ally's/ AmeriCorps member's living stipend in three separate payments of <br />$5259.00 payable to Public Allies Silicon Valley on October 1/ 2008/ December 1/ 2008 and March 1/ <br />2009. The total amount for the ten months is $15/777.00. <br />. Provide a person to serve as a direct supervisor to the Allies/AmeriCorps members. <br />. Provide the supplies and resources necessary to carry out their duties; e.g. desk, phone and appropriate <br />training and office supplies. <br />. Complete evaluations - mid year and year end, as well as participate in Supervisor Focus Group. <br /> <br />Public Allies Silicon Valley agrees to: <br />. Pay the Allies/AmeriCorps members in twice monthly checks of $750.00 over the ten months. <br />. Record hours served. <br />. Provide health care and child care coverage. <br />. Provide an educational stipend of $4/725.00 to the each member upon satisfactory completion of the <br />program. <br />. Provide a program manager, who will provide support to both the partner organization and the <br />Ally/AmeriCorps member. <br /> <br />Both agencies will be responsible for: <br />. Training and supporting the Allies/ AmeriCorps members. <br /> <br />Protocol to address issues when MOU/Operational Agreements are not being met: <br />If any issues arise or if MOU/Operational Agreements are not being met, a meeting of representatives from <br />both agencies will be called to discuss the issues. <br /> <br />We, the undersigned, as authorized representatives of Public Allies Silicon Valley and City of <br />Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center hereby approve this document. <br /> <br />This Agreement will remain in effect from: Date: September 2, 2008 to June 30, 2009. <br /> <br />~ ~ ~ '4/ <br />For ./ '.
