<br />evaluating a reasonable number of Allies, use its best efforts to select an Ally for the <br />Position for the Term; <br /> <br />iv. For so long as Ally remains with Partner Organization, permit <br />Ally to receive training and fully compensate Ally for core training, all retreats, end of the <br />year activities and the one business day every week of the Term when Ally is absent <br />from the work site due to training or other Public Allies Silicon Valley required events as <br />outlined on the program year calendar; <br /> <br />v. If applicable, share organizational resources (contracts, <br />information, documents, etc.) in good faith to help Ally's work on apprentices' team <br />service project ("Project"), which is focused on community service and improvement in <br />partnership with community-based organization(s), and which would otherwise be <br />available pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act; <br /> <br />vi. Provide Public Allies Silicon Valley with a clear position <br />description for the Position during Partner Organization's search and placement <br />process; <br /> <br />vii. Provide Ally with a clear position description for the Position <br />during his or her first week on the job; this position description should not materially <br />differ from the position description given to Public Allies Silicon Valley during the search <br />and placement process; <br /> <br />viii. Facilitate Ally's Supervisor or functional equivalent <br />("Supervisor') in his/her effort to provide guidance for Ally in fulfilling duties of the <br />Position and use its best efforts, with the aid of Public Allies Silicon Valley, to give <br />necessary skills training applicable to the Position; <br /> <br />ix. Ensure that Supervisor attends four (4) supervisor meetings <br />(including Partner Organization Orientation) and complete all required Public Allies <br />Silicon Valley paperwork in a timely manner; and <br /> <br />x. Use its best efforts to retain Ally for the Term, even in the <br />event of disputes, in which case, Partner Organization shall seek the assistance of <br />Public Allies Silicon Valley as described in Section III(N). <br /> <br />II. Payment Schedule. <br /> <br />A. Partner Organization will contribute the sum of $13.503.00 or <br />$15.777.00 (as determined by Partner Organizations budget size) split into equal <br />payments to be made on the first day of the second, fourth, and seventh months of the <br />program, which begins on September 2,2008 and goes until June 30, 2009. The total <br />contribution for Partner Organization is $15,777.00. Thus, the Partner Organization shall <br />submit the sum of $5,259.00 payable to Public Allies Silicon Valley by October 1, 2008; <br />December 1, 2008; and March 1, 2009. This will constitute payment of Partner <br />Organization's portion of Ally's stipend, as set forth in Section I(B)(i). <br /> <br />Public Allies Partner Organization Agreement 2008-2009 <br /> <br />3 <br />
