6.2B <br /> Page 3 <br /> RESOLUTiON NO. <br /> A RESOIUTIQN AMENDiNG THE SALARY RANGES F�R PQSITiONS <br /> IN EXECUTtVE MANAGEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, in April 2000, the Council's Personnel Sub-Committee approved a <br /> new compensation progcam far Department Heads is� the Executive Management <br /> group; and <br /> WHEREAS, the new compensation program requires that the salary range for <br /> each Department Head ciassification is established by using the fowes# and highest <br /> salary for each position with fhe City's group of comparable cities; and <br /> WHEREAS, in December 2004, the Council Personnel Sub-Committee decided <br /> to establish the same salary setting criteria far Division Heads in the Executi�e <br /> Managemen# Group; and <br /> WHEREAS, a market sutvey for 2448 was conducted by Human Resource staff <br /> and has been reviewed by the executive management group; and <br /> WHEREAS, criteria for setting executive management salary increases for <br /> Department Heads and DiVision Managers are annualiy determined by the City <br /> Manager. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, gE iT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY COUNClL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CtTY AS fOLLOWS: <br /> 4. Approve by resolution changes to the salary range for ciassifications in the <br /> Executive Management Group. <br /> 2.
