This indemnification shal! extend to daims asserted after termination of this Contract for whatever reason. C. ln addition ta any remedy authorized by law, so much of the money due the Contractoc under and by virtue of the contract as shaU be considered necessary by the City, may be refained by the City of Redwaod City until disposition has b�made of such suits or Gaims for damage. SECTION 12—BON�S AND lNSURANCE A. ConVactor must execute and submit the following documents to the Ci#y within ten (1Q}days after being not�ed of#he award of the contract,and before Contractor pertorms any services under this Contract. Execution of contract depends upon appravaf af these documents, which are attached hereto and �ncorporated herein by this reference: 1, Document 00610 (Construction Perft�rmance Bond}: To be executed by the successful Bidder and surety,in the amount of i 00 percent of the Contract Sum. 2. Document 00620 {Canstruction Labor and Material Payment Bond}: To be executed by successful Bidder and surety, in the amounf of 140 percent of the Contract Sum. Corporate sureties an ali bonds shafi be duly licensed to do business in the Stafe of Califomia and shall have an A.M. Best Company financial rating ot'A—:V or better. B. Insurance 1. Contractor shall obtain, at its sole cost and expense, all insurance required by this section 12.8. Certificates of such insurance and copies of the insurance poficies and endorsements shall be delivered to City within ten {90) days after being notified of the award af the contra�t,and before Can#ractor performs any services under this Contract. 2.
